COLOSSUS by June Carryl

⁣Join CAB as they re-launch the American Saga Reading Series with the reading of June Carryl’s dynamic play, COLOSSUS! Featuring Kelly Jenrette, Junior Nyong’o, John Tague and Constance Ejuma.

A psychology professor with baggage and a deadline receives a visit from a brother she’s never met who just flew in (he says) from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. Over the next few days and weeks, a tenuous bond forms between them. But as his story changes, old wounds surface and the fragile bond threatens to break. COLOSSUS is a play about grief, cultural disconnect, and the ties that bind to make a family.
